Reservations

Edited

In the Reservations section, you can see all past, current, and future reservations. You can click on a reservation to go to its page, where you can see information about it and edit it (unless the reservation has a custom schedule or repeats daily).

Reservation Page

Each reservation's page has the reservation number and renter’s name at the top and three sections: Details, Invoices, and Price Changes.

Details

  • Spot: You can click the spot to go to the spot’s Details page.

  • From: The start date and time.

  • Until: The end date and time.

    • For flexible reservations, this will say “No end date” until one is set.

  • Schedule: The recurring schedule for the reservation, if it recurs on a non-monthly basis.

    • Days: If the reservation has a custom recurring schedule, what days of the week it's active.

    • Times: If the reservation has a custom recurring schedule, what times on the listed days it's active.

  • Renter: The renter’s name. You can click this to go to their profile.

  • Guest: What guest (if any) the renter added to the reservation. If the guest is another resident with a Parkade account, you can click this to view their profile. If they aren’t, you can’t click it.

  • Vehicle: What vehicle (if any) the renter or guest selected for the reservation.

  • Host: The spot owner. Typically, this will be the name of the property, but when a renter hosts their spot (subleasing it to others), the renter’s name will be here.

  • Created: When the reservation was created. This won’t always match the reservation start time because members can create reservations in advance.

  • Cancelable: Shows if a reservation can be canceled by the renter or not.

  • Ruleset applied: The ruleset on the renter’s account.

Invoices

  • Clicking the three-dot icon to the left of an invoice gives you two options: View and Refund.

    • View: Shows you the invoice with line items (monthly parking fee, credit/debit fee, etc.), the type of payment method, and the last four digits of the payment method.

    • Refund: Allows you to create a refund for the charge (see below for details).

  • Each invoice line item shows when an invoice was billed from and to.

    • For a short-term reservation, this is the start and end date.

    • For a reservation over 45 days, there’s an invoice for each monthly period, which goes from and to the same date in subsequent months.

      • For example, if a flexible monthly reservation started January 5 at 3 p.m., the first invoice will be from January 5 at 3 p.m. until February 5 at 3 p.m.

    • Once a reservation over 45 days has an end date, the final invoice is until that end date.

  • Status

    • Pending: The charge has not been created yet.

    • Processing: The charge was created and is being processed.

    • Paid: The charge was successfully processed.

    • Failed: The charge failed.

    • Pending refund: A refund will be automatically initiated once the initial charge finishes processing.

    • Refunded: A full refund was created for the charge.

    • Partially refunded: A partial refund was created for the charge.

  • Total shows the total for an invoice.

Price Changes

  • Shows any price changes set for the reservation, and allows you to add price changes for it.
